If you don't think it's particularly cool, then bad news, this game has nothing else to offer aside from that one sentence and a couple different weapons and stage hazards.One fun mechanic does not make an entire game worth playing.

Taking everything into consideration, I'd have to say that while I like the novelty of the ghost enemies mimicking the player's actions, once that novelty wears off you begin to notice the cracks and things begin to feel repetitive. The challenge levels extend the game's life, but overall it's probably the kind of game that you'll play for a little bit and then not be particularly compelled to return to.

It needs multiplayer to truly work. It really, REALLY needs it. When played with friends it’s a magnificent ode to chaos, but alone... yeah, it’s pretty repetitive and dull.

Extreme Exorcism will have a fairly broad appeal, given the simplicity of the mechanics. You'll likely need to explain to your non-gaming friends how it works, but even the most staunch luddites will be able to grasp what's going on.
