Resumen
Rey Arturo: Knights Tale mezcla un sistema de combate por turnos al estilo de XCOM con la mecánica tradicional de los juegos de rol, incluyendo el desarrollo de los personajes, las elecciones que afectan a la dirección de tu campaña y la mejora de tu base de Camelot.
La historia sigue a Sir Mordred, que viaja con una banda de caballeros por Avalon en busca del Rey Arturo. Se trata de un giro interesante de la leyenda clásica, ya que Sir Mordred es la némesis del Rey Arturo, que tradicionalmente se muestra como el sobrino traidor del rey.
En esta versión del cuento, Mordred ha herido mortalmente a Arturo, y ahora le acecha a través de la isla de Avalon para terminar el trabajo por orden de La Dama del Lago.
Argumento
Eres Sir Mordred, el némesis del Rey Arturo, el antiguo caballero negro de los cuentos sombríos. Tú mataste al Rey Arturo, pero con su último aliento, él te golpeó. Ambos murieron, y sin embargo, ambos viven.
La Dama del Lago, la gobernante de la mística isla de Avalon te trajo de vuelta para acabar con una verdadera pesadilla.

King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is basically XCOM in a fantasy setting with a melee-based combat system. Fans of this TBS subgenre will definitely have a good time. It doesn’t elevate the XCOM formula, but in the end, it doesn’t need to.

Squad management, vigorous combat and expanding Camelot combine into a compelling dark adventure, which forces you to live with the consequences of your missteps (especially when manual saving is turned off). Weak story is an obvious letdown, but don’t let it turn you away.
