Left 4 Dead 2 CD Key es un juego cooperativo de disparos en primera persona y es la secuela de "Left 4 Dead". Salió a la venta el 17 de noviembre de 2009 en Estados Unidos para Xbox 360 y MS Windows y en Europa el 20 de noviembre de 2009. El 5 de septiembre de 2010 estuvo disponible para el cliente de Steam para Mac OS X y el 2 de julio de 2013 para Linux a través de Steam. El juego había sido lanzado como descarga gratuita por Valve para todos los usuarios de Steam el 25 de diciembre de 2013 durante 24 horas.
El trasfondo del juego se sitúa después de la pandemia apocalíptica, y el juego se centra en cuatro nuevos supervivientes que intentan luchar contra las hordas infectadas que presentan características similares a las de los zombis. El juego cuenta con cinco campañas, que los jugadores deben completar y cuyo objetivo es escapar a casas seguras, que actúan como puntos de control. Se dice que AI Director 2.0 supervisa el rendimiento de los jugadores y consigue ajustar el escenario para proporcionar un desafío dinámico, alterando así la jugabilidad de forma procedimental. Se dice que las otras novedades del juego incluyen tipos de infectados especiales y armas cuerpo a cuerpo de diferentes tipos. Fue en el E3 2009 donde el juego tuvo su estreno mundial.

The graphics are very good for the dated Source Engine. The weapons have a good feel, and the realistic damage to the infected will make feel squeamish quite a lot. A very fun game from beginning to end. (Extra merits for easy modding as well.)

All I can say, is that this game is a **** awesome sequel to Left 4 Dead, ticked all my boxes, nothing negative comes to mind. Awesome! The gameplay is awesome in multiplayer, had tones of fun, the new infected are fun to kill and are fun to play as! Very very verry good game :D
It's better than the first game, then. The biggest achievement, however, is that Valve - who are known to take their time - have managed to put such an enormous wealth of content out in a single year. Left 4 Dead 2 doesn't just add a few new levels and features, it fiddles and increments a formula that few thought needed changing in the first place. The team have managed to infuse their sequel with the exact same kind of nuanced creative energies that usually takes them years, and in doing so they've made last year's accomplished Left 4 Dead look like a simple mod in comparison.
